Streetizen: 8th of September Visit Report

8th of September Visit Report

Today’s visit begun with our members playing a traditional music game called Domikado alongside the kids as we waited for more to arrive. As soon as we saw the number of children complete, we shifted to Hide and Seek.

The kids happily ran all over the place, hiding in their own respective hiding spots while we looked around for them. Next, Gladys took charge of the Arts and Craft session. We made a lion face this time by using a paper plate and colorful paper confetti.

Each member present lent a helping hand to those needing help to complete their own lion face. Our last and main activity was to educate the children. After the arts and craft session, the kids are more eager to learn as we taught them mathematics this session. We divided the kids in such a way that a member present handles a maximum for 4 children. We taught most kids the multiplication table and asked them to memorize it.

At 10:30 sharp, we wrapped up our activities by giving them homework for them to do and bid them farewell till next time we meet them.
