Inspired by Humans of New York, Streetizens is a student-led organization which aims to combat the stereotyping set upon street children. We perform weekly visits to our community to educate street children in a fun way so that they perceive education as their friend, not as their enemy. There are five schools that are currently members of Streetizens: SPH, JIS, Springfield, BBS PIK and BSJ
Several awards and recognitions that Streetizens has achieved are the U-Partnership with UNICEF as well as the San Marino-Alexander Bodini Foundation Children’s Award for which Streetizens is one of the two organizations throughout the globe that won the award.
